is this just in the thought stage right now or is there any prototypes out yet?

what type of lock will there be?

I just recieved my "Mean Street", and using the shape and size of a folder in that basic shape with the single hilt removed would look awesome.

I feel as though I'm amongst a group of psychics. . .

In order for Busse Combat to introduce a folder, two conditions must first be met. First of all it will need to be the strongest lock known to man or beast and second we will have to have a minimum of 1,000,000 units boxed and ready for shipment. So far, we have only met one of these conditions.

Andy, shame on you. With your "insider info", I can't believe you're wondering which. LOL!

Rome did not create a great empire by having meetings...they did it by killing all those who opposed them.

I'd sign up for a folder or two for sure. Maybe be could canvass the membership to see how many might be interested, and maybe the military needs a great folder with the toughest lock in the world?

As far as blade thickness goes, the blade on our folder will be considerably thinner than our fixed blade line.

Are you looking at INFI or M/INFI?

If you are getting thinner stock M/INFI for the Folders please consider using some of it on a Thinner Basic 3.

I am also interested in the Busse folder. Will it have handle scales or will the handle be made completely of metal?

At first, the handles will be all metal. After that, who knows. Suffice it to say that we are really excited about this project and hope to be introducing it at the 2000 Blade Show. We plan to set an entirely new standard for lock strength.

Man Jerry you told me to keep this secret under wraps and here you go spilling the beans

The lock Jerry is looking at incorporating into the design is really cool. But for the lock to work, and hold the strength Jerry is looking for, several other paramenters must be met first.

Remember that sometimes a lock does not actually fail before the handle or liners do.

So Jerry is not just going to put some cool KICK ASS strong lock on a ordinary frame.

The entire knife will be rock solid.

It will of course be powered by depleated uranium to keep with the nuclear tough slogan

Jerry

Thanks for the quick reply. Also the answer is exactly what I was hoping for as I do not really like scales on folding knives, metal is definitely the way to go IMHO. It sounds like you are making one kick ass folder, I look forward to its release.

I want one!! I want one!! I'll be at the blade show to get one!! If they are for sale. If not I'll just have to drool over it!!

WOW & I thought I had been waiting for the folder for a long time!!!!

Really makes ya think how long 'two weeks' can take to go by ;) :D

I just gotta move to Wauseon. Instead of 55 I'd be about 26 or so. Just the right age for Kassi. Shaggi's spoken for, so I won't go there. Well... a wink and a nod would work.:D :D

Rob

Good one Wetdog! I wonder how much longer we'll be waiting... maybe when I am 89 years old I will finally have in hand the famous, often compared to Busse-Loch-Ness-Folder!

What do you mean Kassi is single?!?!?!?!?! :D :footinmou

I wonder if we can raffle off a date with the Blade Babe?!?!?!
