Any chance for a forum knife

I was taking a shower earlier and a thought hit me, :D what if RAT produced a forum knife. Like a tiger stripped Izula with BFC lazer engraved on it. I know Jeff and the other guys at RAT are taking a much need vacation but I'm not talking about an immediate knife, I wouldn't mind waiting for a 2010 forum knife.
 
That would be cool as hell. The Izula has pretty much become the RAT Cutlery icon, and a BFC Izula would be the motherflippin bidness, IMO.
 
A tiger stripe camo BFC Izula would be awesome :D, especially if you could get your Rat pack #.
 
That would be a sweet deal. Even something like an existing knife with some changes that would be exclusive to the forums. Like limited to 250 copies or something.

Can you imagine an RC-4 with a camo blade and Green & Black G10? (my choice for a forum knife, more substantial than an Izula).
 
Can't think of a reason why I wouldn't want one, for sure! It'd be like a membership card you can use!
 
From a technical standpoint the 3 or 4 makes the most sense (and I say this even though I already have one) 'cause the 3 is the knife in the RAT logo. But the Izula is great 'cause it's affordable and has the number visible right on the handle. :)

Maybe an orange one...? :D
 
Sounds like a good idea (I'd buy one), but it would probably be a design for blade forums in general. I'm assuming customizing each individual knife would be somewhat of a hassle.

Well, they could make a limited run of, say 250, numbered, and give a certain amount of time for RAT packers to reserve their number.

An RC3 with tiger stripe camo blade, black linen micarta with mint green liners and a Foliage or OD sheath, full outfit (like the RC3 MIL) would be cool.

But. . .



. . .you know what would be cooler?. . .






. . .An RChop (11" long blade, .187 thicksness replacement for the RTAK), with tiger stripe camo blade, black linen micarta with mint green liners and a Foliage or OD sheath!!!!!!

What about a blue or orange izula?

Or a RC3. Or RC4. Or whatever.

I'd buy any of them really...
 
I'm in for Bladeforums and RP#. I think the RC3 is more iconic of a knife for Rat Cutlery but in the end it would be their decision. As for colors I am pretty open but OD blade and a tan handle would be sweet.
