Not that Carothers wouldn't make an awesome folder, but there are lots of great folders out there. A lot less fixed blades of Carothers quality. I'd rather see a lot more fixed blades...

I know man. And it's a reasonable expectation. I lose sleep about it.

I need to update our horizontal machining center, the machine I use for beveling is occasionally not setting the pallet down just right. It's actually the curvic coupling, and sometimes the rotation of the pallet will be off by a tiny hair which results in the fixture being in the wrong location by .001". Which creates a lot of extra hand grinding for Mark.

The tooling, machines, and strategies I utilize to make these knives is wildly expensive and complicated and when they start screwing up it makes my hair fall out.

How many CPK fixed blade knives do you own? How many CPK folders do you own? I’m seeing a column with a “0” that needs to be filled! Compared to the two other offerings suggested in the original post, I’ll wait for the folder.

I much prefer my DEK1 to any folder personally. I can’t imagine anything more refined than this for a edc utility knife. However if I could get my hands on a DEK3 I tell myself I would never want another knife again lol

Do we know when to expect the kukri? I anticipate it being a grail knife
