Any chance I'm not getting a TGLB?

So, I've been looking for a knife to replace my Randal Model 14 as my general camping/BOB/EOTWAWKI knife. I've looked at a number of options and I keep coming back to the Busse Team Gemini Light Brigade. Scrapyard is out because I don't like those handles. I've looked at the Esee options and I'm ordering a Izula 2, but they don't have something in that ~7" blade that I want. I also like the Ratmandu but it doesn't hit that 7" blade mark I want either.

I like knives that work well and hold their value. Busse certainly fits that criteria. So, is there any chance I'm not going to end up with a TGLB?

Why not? Have you tried ordering one yet? It is still on their website for sell. If you want it, you should order it online or over the phone by calling the shop.
 
The only chance you may not end up with a TGLB is that you end up with a SARGE 7.
 
the other option is that you'll take a severe blow to the head in the next day or two before you convince yourself to pull the trigger, and while you're in a coma, busse will introduce the NMFSH and stop offering the TGLB...

but if that happens, you'll need to post a new threat called "Any chance I'm not getting a NMFSH?" to which i will promptly reply... not if you're smart

only you Cyo... can answer that question..!! actually type these numbers (419) 923-6471 into your phone and the answer will be yes.
 
I would CALL the shop and tell them you will take the rest of the TGLB and through in the all of the AA Assaults.... then maybe they'll release the NMFSH or the NMSHBM !!!!:foot::foot::foot::eek::eek::D
 
Yeah, I couldn't get away from it.

Ordered today--tanker grey and tan. My first Busse.

You are gonna love it. I recently got my TGLB in tanker grey with black G10 and its sick. I have a Boss Jack which was my first Busse but this is in a whole different class.
 
You'll like it. Randalls are great, too. I wish Randall would collaborate with Jerry Busse to put his steel in their knives! An INFI Randall would be the coolest knife EVER!!!


I know it won't happen... but a guy can dream. :D

I added the Combat Master sheath with it. What are people's thoughts on it? I thought I'd like that better than a strait kydex sheath.
 
I have one, and it's excellent. I still love Kydex, but for a survival knife, the CM is superior unless you spend the extra money getting a pouch and other accessories for the kydex
