Any chance of a new Goddard in G10 with upgraded steel?

I like the vg10 with the ffg better than the saber grind on the older models, but if you do find an older one you could always have scales made for it. I saw someone on Instagram make micarta scales for one in the past year or so.

I would jump at the chance for a Goddard Small, with plain edge, and upgraded steel and handles. I regret selling my originals. Probably my favorite knife ever.

If this would ever come to pass, I think changing the handles would be the way to address the shortcomings with the original micarta handles showing chips at the pivot and the problems with the pocket clip screw threading into the micarta handle, which was never an ideal way to attach a clip. The micarta wouldn't tolerate removal and reinsertion of the screws. Not that I want the cheap molded scales, but G10 slabs over metal liners, with threads going into the metal liners, would be great.

One can only ask and wish...

The original, albeit with the serrated edge; this one has a look and ergos never achieved again, IMHO:

The Siren's blade is longer than I would like for an EDC knife (the Goddard Small is just about perfect for that purpose). And it just doesn't have the visual appeal of the Goddard.
