Any chance of getting an old BuckTool 360 repaired?

Just figured I would toss this out and see.

Late last year I found a BuckTool 360 with a broken lockbar on one of the handles. Being that the BuckTool is riveted construction there is no easy way for me to take it apart and either repair the spring or replace it with a suitable piece of metal.

Before pulling out the ol' power drill and opening up the tool I would like to know if anyone has had a BuckTool repaired since their discontinuation?

*I am not the original owner and did not buy the tool new, thus I don't feel the warranty covers me. I'm not looking for a replacement, just wanted to see if any old parts somehow snuck over into Idaho. :)
