Any chance of making the Proper snappier?

This has probably been discussed, but my search-fu is weak these days...

I am on the fence with purchasing a Proper, having played with two of them at my local Gander Outdoors this past weekend. It has all of the characteristics I like in a modern slipjoint, checking all the boxes but the one in the snappiness dept.

Any chance of a re-design where the backspring-blade tang interface is stouter, creating a more springy and robust half-stop, opening, and closing?

Thank you in advance.
