Any chance of Southern Grind and Spyderco doing a collab?

I would love to see a smaller Bad-Monkey style knife with a Spyder Hole (I don't honestly know why, but I love that knife despite the fact that it's way to large for me to ever carry).

I wouldn't mind a tiny Bad Monkey-inspired Spyderco pocket clip as well.

I'm constantly looking at newer custom makers and thinking to myself "I wish Spyderco would team up with them on a collab".

Surely I'm not the only one right?

Man I don't know why I thought of a Southern Comfort Spyder drink

I'm in.
Maybe something a little smaller with CF and ti liners(maybe even a ti frame lock) with a little wider blade and thumb hole in a super steel. Oh and maybe a deep clip. I could go for the clips that are on the Para 2, Chokwe, etc, though.

Bad Monkey's always been quite a looker for me. SG I would guess would be more interested in expanding their own brand for now though but who knows.

I'm no expert, but it seems that most of Spyderco's collaborations have been with custom designers as opposed to other knife makers. I would have to agree that if you want to see a knife of that nature, contact Mike at Southern Grind and express your interest. They paid to use the Emerson Wave patent on the current runs, they would likely also pay to use the Spyderhole feature as well... assuming Spyderco gives permission.

I had never heard of Southern Grind until a few weeks ago. Looks interesting.
