any chance of us seeing a Hairy Carry without all the writing?

I did have an HC for a month or so... I thought the blade was toooo thick for my tastes.. and it was 4" which is longer than I want. ..But the geometery of the whole package is sooooo dang purdy... I also do not like all the writing on the blade.. is there gonna be a "regular" run... or a non-numbered one without the "LE" writing all over the blade??

Mine is only 3-1/2" and thinner than many other SRKW knives but the Red/Black G-10 HCs were even thinner, if you nabbed one at Blade '08. Take some sandpaper to the writing and VIOLA!

So if I purchased a HC from the company store right now, would it say "LIMITED EDITION" across the other side of the blade?

Not sure about the 3.5" versions but on my 4" the 'special edition' wording is etched in pretty deeply. I think sand papering it would not be fun.

Nope.

On the front they have the logo, number, and "154cm".

There is nothing written on the back
