A question for the older hogs:

Has Busse made any completely choilless knives? If so, what models?

TIA

I'm sure someone else will chime in with more exhaustive lists, but the killa zilla and tank buster both spring to mind.

sar5, killa-zilla, tank buster, war boar, NICK and XXL NICK, marco bolo, and as far as I know thats it.

There may have been a few heavy recurve custom pieces that took out the choil from a standard piece, but they would all be one off's. then there are the stray "never before seen in public" customs like this one:

I believe that was the Busse Combat attempt at a competition cutter blade.

The three I thought of were mentioned already (SAR5, TB & KZ) but the soon to be released Hogmuk will be choil-free! ;)

As much as I hate them on sub 4" knives, I will forever need a choil due to stupid muscle memory - I cant tell you how many times I've without thinking choked up on blades with no choil just outta habit...

I've actually sold off most of my true choiless knives because of this (except a frost mora that is the "lend to friend blade" ;)) - even sold one of my all time favs, BRKT Canadian Special, because it was just TOO sharp and I had cut myself too many times.

I look at it as a safety measure... for me :D
