When Scott Gossman had his design a knife competition I drew a few different ones up but it was this one below that I thought would be a popular choice, turns out that one of my designs is doing ok but not this one ?
Is it just me that likes these chubby designs, I realise I'm a little 'off the wall' after all I did design my TTSK eh( which I still love by the way !).;)

Anyway I just wondered if anyone else likes this or am I just a weird chubby chaser !!!!!:o

Neat design! It reminds me of a Grohmann #4 with a shorter, wider blade.

I like it, but I would rather have it in some thinner stock, 1/8th or 3/32nd.

Here`s a chubby I did over a year ago.

This one is 2" tall at the tallest point, with a convex edge 4 3/8" blade, 8 3/4" overall, of 1/8" O1 steel, with bloodwood handles.

I can remember that one John, if I got another chubby from you it would have to be your 5" Hudson Bay !!!

I REMEMBER THAT ONE! I damn near bought it!

Nice design Pitdog, I like it, though the curve of the blade is just a tad too.... curved for my taste.

Hey Chris I had to keep it within the size parameters set out by Scott, here is the same blade, exact same handle but with the blade streched out to around 5", I personally think it looks better this way eh ?

Putting a little more steel at the front like this one would make it an even better little chopper.....better stop now or I'll be getting John to make it and I really can't afford it right now !!!!!
