Has anyone here used or held the sog tac mini auto? It looks to be perfectly sized for EDC and automatic knives are legal in Florida so I'm considering picking one up.... Does anyone have one or has anyone held / used one?

I handled one at my local outdoor store. Awesome knife. I did like the full sized SogTac but I didn't care for the zytel inserts. The Mini doesn't have inserts, it's all aluminum. Great blade to handle ratio (3" blade, 3.75" handle). It opens fast. The deep carry pocket is great. Some might not like the handle size but since you don't need to slide your finger/thumb to open the blade like on the Benchmade Sequel where as the handle doen't give you much grip. It's really not the case with the Mini SogTac because the firing button is pressed like all plunge locks and the handle doesn't end up sliding forward or aft. I can't say much about about the secondary lock because I dont use them on any of my autos.
I'm not a fan of Sog products. I've had problems with their sheaths, I think the Arc lock is just an Axis lock copy, too much blade play in many of their folders, I find their marketing to be decieving and some of their prices are too high. I wouldn't mind owning a Mini Sogtac though.:)

Wunderbar, did you find the handle to be big enough to be ergonomic / get a full grip on it without being too small? The closed size of 3.75" is nice and small for EDC (read: ideal) - does it seem too small in the hand?

My hands are about average size (I have 7" wrists), so I thought that it was at the bare minimum for a really good grip.
