If money where not a concern, what would you get for an EDC knife? I am looking for answers for a knife that you would really use for your own purposes, not a safe queen. If you open envelopes, fine; if you use it to open shipping crates, that’s fine to. It can be a folder of fixed, 1” blade or 15” blade, if you would really carry and use it. If it’s a Case trapper, that’s fine or a Ron Lake beauty, that’s fine to, but you have to be willing to use it. Me, I don’t know, probably a Crawford frame lock (similar to A. G. Russell one hand knife) but with my own ideas incorporated. Just curious what other knifeknuts think.

Even if I were to win a $1,000,000 Lottery, I'd still EDC the same two that I do now; My Benchmade 805 and 721s. For a fixed blade it would be my Cold Steel 6" stainless Tanto...I like those 3 knives THAT much.

Most likely the same knife I am carrying now, a large TNT with a recurve blade. :D

The same I carry now:

My one and only folder, a large classic Mayonized Sebbie.

For fixed, the 3 I rotate, all Busse. Straight handle Badger Attack, Mean Street and Active Duty.

They all do what I ask of them and see no need to change or upgrade. I would like to try a small Sebbie sometime, but no hurry.

I'd stick with my BM710HSSR, but I might be just a plain edge BM710HS.

Now, I know this will sound cliche by the end of this thread, but I, too, would choose a Sebenza, but probably a large. For ease of use, and care, nothing beats a Sebenza.

Hmmmmm

Either a very early Ernie Emerson custom... Or a SpeedSafe Ken Onion custom.

Jesus, any cost huh? Well, I'd probably pick up one of the new Microtech Makora's... or maybe a Darrell Ralph bali (sometimes I think I joined the marines just so I could carry automatic knives... by the way, what my superior officers don't know don't hurt em'), can't go wrong with a TOPS... you know, it's hypotheticals like this that drive people batshit crazy

If I had the cash, I'd get a Mike Obenauf model 2 with a carbon fibre handle, or maybe a Charles Marlowe Folder.

Until then I'm very happy with my EDC's, which are a large flat ground Sebenza, a Strider AR, and a Benchmade 550 beater that I use for work.

Probably a small Sebenza just like I am right now. I've tried other knives, customs included, and while I love some of them I've once again come back to the small Sebenza for my EDC knife.

I think if money was no object I'd have to buy one of Bob Doziers best heavy duty folders in D2 steel for my every day working knife.

Then, since money is no object, I'd have to buy one of Ken Onions fancy custom recurved folders for church on Sundays and fancy get togethers. LOL.
