Any Crooked River fans in the room?

I don't own any Benchmades but I've always liked the look of the Crooked River. My local retailer just got in the black micarta/copper aluminum variant with battlewashed magnacut and I can't stop thinking about it! If you have experience with any of the Crooked Rivers, I'd love to hear your thoughts!

It's a nice knife. Very understated.

The MagnaCut/copp aluminum combo is gorgeous (I have it on my 940).

I have one in m4. It had jade scales but I dyed them a darker green. I'm a big fan. However, I think benchmade is getting a little crazy with their prices. You can get a sharp by design mini-tempest for a cheaper price (2nd pic).

I’m not a Benchmade fan, but the Crooked River grabbed my attention and had to see if I would like it.
Turns out, I do like it and am very pleased with it.

I love the mini Crooked River. I found a new one from the custom shop for a song and it is a great knife. It is an odd combination of two different scales and a S90V blade. That is how it was ordered. .

I would put up a photo, but it is buried in the pile right now!

Mebbe. The full size has a blue thumb stud on the way. I REALLY like this design.

And guess what one of them is Crooked River gen 1 and I totally love the knife

I ordered a custom one direct from benchmade. I think it is one of the nicest looking folders out there.

When I got it, it was awesome. Its thick in the pocket and I ended up selling it. I regret it and have almost ordered another one about 5 times.

They are a bit thick in the handle, especially the full size, but honestly, I don’t even notice it carrying them.

Thats why I was so torn after I sold it. In hand its actually really nice. Problem was its in my pocket 95% of the time.
