It's a good, thick, solid marker with a relatively pointy tip. Cap screws on. The tip makes it possible to do fine enough writing to use for any marker job.....think medium to fine Sharpie. Keep in mind that it is permanent, and will bleed through paper same as any marker. It's fat.....it'll fit a punching grip no problem, but it is a handful in a normal pen grip. Screw on cap means having to unscrew to use; but it's a worthwhile trade in my opinion for overall strength.
Seems to be an excellent kubatan.....very solid and has noticeable mass. As a pen/marker, it seems to be as good as any other I've used. I've never tested for longevity....since it's a marker, I don't use it as often as I would a pen.
