Any decent knife makers in Mexico

I am new to the whole forum thing and knives in general so excuse me if cross any etiquette guidelines. My wife and I are going to Akumel Mexico in January near Cozumel. Is there any good knife manufacturers anywhere down there. I thougt I might be able to take advantage of the prices down there while adding a unique knife to my collection.

Oacaxa, Mexico has been stated to have the best bladeware in Mexico. I'm not sure if you are close by, though.
