Any diamond-coated rods for Sharpmaker?

Are there any out, or will there be in future? My regular rods seem to work for most knives, but certain knives of a harder steel, or certain edge grinds, either don't sharpen up well, or take forever. In such cases, it would be good to start the edge with a diamond-coated one, then finish up with the regular rods.

Otherwise I was considering buying an even, rounded diamond-coated rod (not tapered) and laying it against the Spyderco rods for the correct edge angle.

Hi James. We're working on some diamond triangles at this time. Our deadline for beginning production is the end of March. I would guess within 60 days after that.

Sounds great! Now I will have pretty much all I will need for resharpening when those come out.

Sal, I know its a bit off into the future but these will be for the 204 right? Also any clue on price, and where they can be purchased? Will you have to buy them separately? BTW I love my 204, and diamond rods will be great to go with it. Thanks for making them and listening to our wishes.
Thanks,
