Any difference between regular and Bos heat treat?

Couldn't find a specific thread about this thus the question. Is there a difference between say, the heat treatment 420HC steel gets and the more expensive steels like the S30V that is always stamped Bos heat treat on it? I've never seen the Bos logo on any 420HC Buck blades.

The BOS heat treat is used on all Buck knives.

CJ Buck Made a post here quite some time back. Basically said that Buck reserves the Bos stamp for the premium steels.

Paul performed or oversaw all USA heat treat, the imports do not have that advantage. He has since retired and left his recipe and experience in capable hands...I believe he remains as consultant. Only the upgrade and premium steels bear his logo.(oops PR already said this while i was typing)
