Any difference in the "Prestige line"...

I'm really liking the Roadhouse I picked up and have been looking around,
no doubt I'll pick up another Emerson.
I noticed Knifeart lists a Prestige Line, is there any difference / improvement
or is this just marketing BS ?
Your input is appreciated.

All companies "market", so "BS" is unfair, but I don't think there's anything functionally different, just that it signaled newer (at the time) designs that were being released.

No slight intended...I had seen a Roadhouse listed and then a roadhouse Prestige Edition listed for a little more money.
I was wondering if that indicated anything particular, perhaps a little closer final inspection, difference in material or
perhaps a latest production knife rather than a knife that had been in stock for an extended period of time.
I'd only seen the Prestige Line listed at KnifeArt, not elsewhere.
Thanks

Gotcha'. No real difference in the Roadhouse since inception other than the switch to standoff's most of the lineup got a couple years ago.

Prestige editions have different color handle scales. My roadhouse has tan scales. Its a prestiges edition. I think the jungle green scales are part of the same idea.

A Prestige Edition can also be a standard black G10, no different than regular production models. Prestige is a title given to certain dealers. Only those dealers will carry the Prestige line of knives.
