Any EvenHeat 120V Owners Here?

I'm looking at getting the EvenHeat 22.5" deep, 120v model since my Garage isn't set up with 220v. My main panel is on the other side of the house and it's the original panel (which means it's old!), so running a 220v line across the attic and to the Garage would be quite expensive. I've had 2 quotes to do this. One was for $489 and the other was for $613. 2 other electrical companies have said they wouldn't do it because I needed a new main panel located outside the home. (mine is currently located inside a bedroom closet)

So that being said, it seems I have two options.

1. Buy a 110v EvenHeat oven. My questions are: how long does it take to heat up to 1500 degrees? How long to heat up to 1900?

2. Buy a 220v unit and run it off of my 5500 watt generator. I'd probably locate the EvenHeat on a rolling cart or toolbox and move it out under the carport when I needed to HT. Then my only expense would be gas.

What are your thoughts or suggestions?

I'm curious about this too, because I have 220V in my shop but it's wired into a breaker with 2 coming out, one for a welder and one for my grinder. They can't be on at the same time (at least not for more than a few seconds) without me being worried about overcurrenting the lines. The kiln would need to be on for several hours so it would have to have it's own circuit (which I have no more room for), so 110 would be preferable if it's viable. Looking forward to opinions here as well.

$489 isn't a bad price, although it's easy to do it yourself if you know how.

A 110v unit will heat up slower, so I would go with a 220v model; especially for a large oven.

I have a paragon 15" kiln I. 120v and it takes quite some time to heat up. I don't make many knives so it's no big deal but if I had my current shop when I bought it I would have gone 220. At the time I purchased I was in an apartment with no way to get 220.
