I think I finally found the perfect watch for me. Anybody own one, with recommendations/ information?

The updated Fortis B-42 is a great watch from a great company. They wisely don't "doll-up" the automatic movement, because that is unnecessary in a cool utilitarian tool-style wristwatch. You've made a great choice as I've felt very positive about this brand for years. The former Soviet Union space program used this company pretty exclusively to supply their cosmonauts.

I'm impressed with Fortis' anti-reflective coatings. I had a Flieger model. My wife thought I had purchased a watch without a crystal because it didn't reflect any light.

Fortis is a little underappreciated, in my opinion. I don't have that one, but I've got an automatic and am very pleased with the fit, finish, and durability.
