Does anybody have any experience with Brown bear combo set for survival. I just bought a spanish 440c copy of that knife set and intend to use it as bush knife.

It is very legal for cary in my country for the lack of point on the big knife

Hey Bogdan, I don't have survival experience with the set. But my dad uses them for hunting and camping and likes them a lot. He's a huge knife guy with lots to choose from too. Also, our Air Force did major testing on those for use as survival knives, and they passed with flying colors. Should serve you well!

The originals are pretty tough. I would be grateful if you would post the results of using the "Spanish copies". Just curious how they would hold up.

Thanks,

DPD.

Thanks Bogdan. Yes, it looks like the Knives of Alaska combo. The cleaver itself won some award when came out. Should be a good combo if heat treatment and manufacturing is right.

i have the brown bear combo from knives of alaska, they definately work as advertized, stay sharp and will skin, cape, chop about anything you would need to on a hunting trip.
