Any experience with Kirk Rexroat?

He has a new collaboration with Al Mar called the Shrike. He was kind enough to send me a pic of it. When I saw the custom version I was blown away! Does anyone have any experience with his knives? Seems like someone said he prefers forging to stock removal. If he is taking orders I just may have to get one of these. It may seem like I've been living in a cave, but I don't know about his work. Any comments?

We gotta get Dennis out of his cave more often .
Kirk has been a MS in the ABS since 1999 I think. All the work I have seen of his from folders to fixed blades and daggers is very impressive.

I believe he won best of show, or at least one of the categories in Eugene a year or two ago. In fact, he very well may have won awards several years in a row. I have seen his work first hand, and find it to be exceptional (as do the judges).
