Read a little about them in a knife mag today and am very curious to hear any feedback about either of the two folders.

For those, like me, that are unaware of them. . . . . .

Evidently they are an A. G. Russell™ "exclusive" . . . only 600 made (each).

The spec's:

1. Encounter: Measures 5-1/4" closed with a 4" blade of D2 at 59-61 Rc. Weighs 4.4 oz.

2. Small Encounter: Measures 4-1/8" closed with a 3-1/4" blade of D2 at 59-61 Rc. Weighs only 2.8 oz.

Both have aluminum handles.

The pic's were pretty cool. . .both sporting an "all black" motif - except for the lanyard tube.

Had a lil' encounter, traded it, SHOULD NOT HAVE.... It is a great knife.
D2, cuts beautifully very well made in my opinion. It is lightweight, feels nice in the hand, mine was linen micarta handle.
