I am intrigued by this design, but cannot find any real reviews on the forums about it.
can anyone here chime in and write a little review? Curious about the locking mechanism, whether it's gimicky or a sound functional design that can be easily cleaned.

Not looking good for the 770 at the moment, seems like nobody has one.

The closest I have is a Buck Redpoint. The 770 Flashpoint appears to have a similar lock on the side (blade locks open and locks closed) and opens in a similar way (pull your pointer finger toward you on the blade rotator grooves). My Redpoint is fun to play with (open, close, repeat) and it's sturdy and usable. I wouldn't hesitate purchasing the Flashpoint.

I like the flashpoint. Very good build quality. I will post some pics.the lock is ok. Zero blade play and the pivot is super smooth like a bearing system.

Would make a great back packing knife. Plus you can have a beer with the bottle opener. Does it get any better than that?
