Been into pipes for about 10 years. I really enjoy C&D burley blends. I like my Boswells and Danish made Stanwells best. Also smoke cobs frequently.

Been into them about 50 years. Usually smoke a burley and Viginia blend I get bulk online. I refuse to pay the exorbitant prices of the walk in tobacco shops. Love old Petersons and Savinelli's.

Some old Meershaum's I've collected over the years for that evening smoke.

Occasional Pipe smoker here. I smoke Comoy and Savinelli pipes, mostly, preferring english blends and latakia heavy blends in general (Frog Morton, is my current favorite).

I've just bought my first briar pipes, two old Grabow Dukes. I've also got a Falcon/Viking type pipe that's stamped "Koolsmoke." I know nothing about pipe smoking, I'm just getting into it. Amazing collection, Carl. I guess maximum-minimalism just applies to knives, then? ;)

Actually, I've only bought a small portion of those pipes new. One thing about being a pipe smoker with a large family is, they know what to get me for fathers day, birthday's, Christmas's, anniversaries, and so on. Plus when a friend passed away, his wife gave me his pipes. Now I lightup an old Savinelli and think of Bill as I puff away.

Carl.

My dad smokes pipes, he has a pretty nice collection. I don't think that they're anything to special. He refers to them as "Drug Store Pipes".
