Not that meat and potatoes guns aren't cool, hell, all firearms have some relevance for me, but anything out ove the ordinary you care to share or discuss.

Modern, vintage, military, target, etc.... my taste runs the full gamut.

Love this thing, but not exactly an EDC.

The AR on the left is pretty standard (KAC SR 15), but the bullpup on the right is....European:). It's a FS 2000 - (name sounds like something from Harry Potter).

I want to like the bullpup more than I do...I always find myself with the AR...

Your pockets are way deeper than mine sir!
Your bank account must have 7 digits or you got in the game well before 5/19/86 or both LOL
The HK collecting is one of the few regrets I have in the firearms world. I had a chance to get in with the right people at the right time but my immaturity took over and I went another direction.

I turn 35 on Wednesday and amassed the majority of my collection b4 I was 31 and worked in the private sector. Now that I'm a State employee I'm poor, but the job satisfaction is higher.

Nice array, I'm sure we'll be going back and fort. But now I gotta ask, give me the specs on the 21!

Before hoarding knives, flashlights and multitiools, I hoarded firearms. Enough to equip the Bolivian army for a sustained campaign. (Just kidding, NSA).

Ruger .22 pretending to be an AR-15.

And on a related note, lets not forget that Teletubby hunting season begins September 1.

"Time for Tubby bye bye, time for Tubby bye bye . . . .

Not your daddy's CZ.

Pic courtesy of Stuart Wong from the CZ Custom Shop in Mesa, Arizona. I changed the black VZs to OD green VZs. Yes, that is a barrel bushing you see.

Actually I'm working class. Just been at it a long time and I eat a lot of cheese sandwiches and drove $100 cars for years. I also put my money into my gunsafe rather than the stock market or 401ks.

The 21 is a 91 to 21 Vollmer conversion with a Qualified auto sear.

It also helped that I started collecting in the 4th grade, But all through Junior High that was mostly WWI / WWII firearms. My first gun ever was a 1917 Erfurt Luger when I was 8 or 9 years old.

I didn't get my first ARs and HKs until I was in high school. I used to work typical part time jobs to buy one gun every three months or so. Course that was back when a HK91 or 93 had a sticker price of $350 and I still felt robbed because I only paid $225 for my AR-15.

And no matter how tough times got, no matter if I was diving the couch cushions in hope of funding a Dominoes pizza, I never sold any of my guns for "quick cash." I just pretended they weren't there and got through those early rough days when you get out on your own.

SteyrAug, I was kind of hoping to see your namesake in here, perhaps once this thread kicks off.

Sweet collections so far. I will have to keep an eye on this one.

Guys, you have some serious firepower there!! If I can find a way to post some pictures, I will (but I'm nowhere near of some of you).

I haven't even broke out the WWI / WWII stuff or some of the other exotics.

One of the more interesting firearms I ever got into were Drillings. Two shotgun side by sides with a rifle under it. Mostly have JP Sauers, serious old world craftsmanship.

And then there is this.

NSFK (National Socialist Flyers Corps) markings. That was what they called the Luftwaffe before Germany was supposed to have an airforce and this is the predecessor of what would become the M30 Luftwaffe "survival" drilling that was carried by pilots on bomber crews during the war.

I was born and raised in Chicago. There was no guidance or direction towards guns. I got a late start and didnt get my first gun till I turned 21 in 1999 and was in the suburbs. NFA didnt happen till I moved to IN 4 years ago.

I'm all over the place with whats in the safes.

Better late than never on NFA stuff, prices tend to go one direction only.

Wonderful looking Model 29 (I'm assuming). I love old P&R smiths.

I have to be careful with old Smith and Colt wheelguns, there are a lot of them I don't have yet and many on my wish list. And they are the sort of thing that can break you fast if you decide to seriously collect them.

And I understand about being all over the place. Here's the contents of two safes when I had to juggle a room to make room for another.

I've moved the safes and done that as well. The wife always seems to want to hover as if she can tell what if any new guns I've snuck into the house.

That is a 29, I knew the 29 market was gonna go through the roof when the python prices started to climb. I lucked out and ended up with about 8 of each and a half dozen king cobras. Snake collectors are a sick bunch. S&W prices have become very strong over the last 10 years too.
