Any Frame Lock Wegner's in Spyderco's future?

I've seen pics of Dennis Bible's Frame Lock Wegner and to me, it looks about like one of the best collab designs Spyderco has done to date taken to it's highest level of function and beauty.

Does Spyderco have any plans in the forseeable future to update this superb design to a Frame Lock format?

That would be sweet. I wouldn't mind seeing a Tom Mayo/Spyderco effort if the frame lock Wegner is a no go.

Tip down Wegner? Perhaps with Ti scales and integral lock? Instant EDC folder for the field!

I asked this a few months ago and, apparently, Spyderco would only collaborate with Chris Reeve, who wasn't interested. Bummer...I want my SPYnT!

Hi Misque. The next Wegner design that we're working on has a compression lock. We have some designs coming out with a framelock or integral compression lock, but nothing scheduled for a linerlock type framelock.

WOW!! An Integral Compression Lock?!
Sal, I am just gonna have to buy stock in Spyderco. A Compression Lock Wegner has just been added to the "must have" list.

I believe Blade-Tech had Wegener's with Reeve's lock at the Blade Show last June.

Anybody else see'em?

Sounds interesting, I look forward to seeing what you folks come up with.

There it is, my folding Iron Mistress!
This baby has it all, even tip up or down carry options!

Thanks for the Pic Dennis:D

The knife in the picture is the one I have been dreaming of for more than two years now! I have even been trying to to learn how to make my own Ti frame-lock just to upgrade one of my existing Wegners!

Wegner ergonomics, Ti frame-lock, tip up/down carry, the only thing that could make it more perfect to me would be a flat ground, 440v blade.

Where can I get one? I can't seem to find it on Blade-Tech's sight.

You can find that knife at BladeArt, they had one on the table at the BAKCA show in Palo Alto two weeks ago. Would have been worth the trip up the coast!
