Any Frontier Bowie Mods?

I haven't seen much on the 1917 Frontier Bowie. It's a pretty cool looking knife, especially for the price. The only thing that puts me off about it is the grip. It looks really uncomfortable. Has anyone seen any examples of someone modifying or re-handle-ing the Frontier Bowie?

It's been quite a while, so you may not be reading this, but the handle isn't that bad. You could possibly get a pro to round off the corners a little, but I don't think it would make too much of a difference. The shape, although a bit blocky, isn't that uncomfortable, and stops it from rolling in your hand.
I had thought about getting the clip sharpened, but, I don't think that, on the tiny chance I ever did have to use it in self-defense, I would ever need to do a back cut. Besides, people don't really get into knife fights anymore. There are knife attacks, though, and those happen by surprise. If I did need to use this, it would likely be against an ambush when I'm in the woods, and only then if I could manage to get it out of the sheath.
