I have a very much used Endura that the lock has failed on, could some one please take a look at the pictures and tell me if it's got any future...

I mean if it's a good idea to send it to the Spyderco factory for repair or if I'll just have to buy a new one.

How did that happen?

Misuse (to be honest), no more details nessesary. :) But anyways, the lock is broken, and I wonder if it could be replaced? And to what cost?

I pronounce this Endura dead. I'm not saying it couldn't be repaired but if it was due to misuse, Spyderco isn't going to touch it for any amount of money. Unless you have a lot of tools and time, I'd just bite the bullet and get a new Endura.

I don't see a Boye dent on it... I assume it's delivered at least a few years of service.

It happens... I killed my beloved Dodo by dropping it on a tile floor.

Yeps, 3 1/2 years of service to be precise. Well I'm going to get another Endura (or Rescue 93mm) even if the old one could be repaired.

Fix it or buy a new one would be about the same in price.
