Hi, I am new to the world of knifemaking and I would like to start tearing down some of my stilettos and other folders to customize. I also want to eventually start making knives, and I would like to know if there are any good books out there for a relative newbie.

I might be a bit of an oddball on this forum, because I am most interested in Scandinavian type knives (although I still like the occasional Tactical knife). Anyway, I have a very excellent book on knife and sheath making but it focuses almost completely on scandinavian knives. It's "Knifemaking, A Complete Guide to Crafting Knives, Handles, and Sheaths" by Bo Bergman. The MSRP is only $18.95. Great Book!!
