was looking through some of the edc pics, and saw several useful looking tools, just too many pages to look through. What are some of the tools you guys carry?

I have been for a few months carrying this:
e3269141670e978daccbf5d4a41a4046

It's nice and has to cool features but there are a few that I don't need or use.
I'm waiting to get the new Gerber Shard in-stock and then I will be changing over to that for my EDC tool.

i have a shard. i stopped carrying it when the prybar failed to fit in a spot i needed to pry and went back to my countycomm pico widgy bar and swiss tech utilikey combo. the coating on the shard also scratches off very easily. i tried putting a split ring on mine and got all kinds of scratch marks. if you don't need to do much prying then it should be a good choice.

As for tools i carry on my person:
Leatherman Skeletool CX
Leatherman Micra
Swisstech Utilitkey
County Comm Pico Widgy Bar

I have quite a few more tools in my bag but they are mostly for work.

I have had a LM Micra on my keychain for years, and have just about worn it out. There are other worthy tools out there, but this one has served me well.

At work, always a Swisstool.

Everywhere else, a Swisschamp or Champion Plus.

SAK farmer in pocket
Swisstool Spirit in bag

And of course the obligitory high performance knives as well.

I carry a mini pry bar that apparently was made by/for the US Military. It cost less than 5 bucks and seems to be indestructible. I put a lanyard on it and attached a tiny LED that I found in the impulse isle at the hardware store (also under 5 bucks).

I suppose I could spend a lot more on a more "tactical" set up, but this stuff has yet to fail or fall short of supplying my lighting and prying needs.

I carry a SAK for my tools, it is compact and has a lot of tools, and it is inexpensive.

I carry an EDC blade (lately a SG2 JYDII) and a split ring with a small Fenix E01 and a set of Count Comm key-sized screw drivers. When I'm not at work I will usually replace the flashlight/screwdriver set up with a Vic Farmer. I'd pick up a mini pry bar, but I don't seem to have a use for one.

This is what I carry every day (though the knife is different from day to day).

It looks bulky, but it isn't. It folds up into a very comfortable package.

So what do we have here? Knife and flashlight, of course, plus:

2" hacksaw
Thumb light
Tweezers
P51 can opener
Peanut lighter
Pen
Swiss Tech 9 multitool
Extra car keys
Widgy bar

All together on a 6" mechanics cable. Most of this stuff is cheap, well made, and available at countrycomm.
