Dennis, there is a "Chesapeake Knife & Tool" in the mall at the Inner Harbor. IIRC, if you are facing the mall with your back to the harbor, right at the water... there are two buildings, arranged in a sort of L or corner shape. The branch on the left is mostly restaurants, with maybe a couple of other stores. The branch on the right is the one that has the CK&T. I think if you go in the entrance near the center of the branch, it is right there on the left. The last time I was there, they had a fairly good selection of Spyderco, Benchmade, Cold Steel, and a lot of crap from Frost or United, or whatever. Also, I have seen since then, at other CK&T, that they carry a selection of William Henry folders as well. SCHWEEET!

Prices aren't great (OK, they are downright awful). But.... at least you can see them, and if you have the money, donate to the cause (of keeping knife stores open, that is). I would like to be able to come up and meet you, but I live about 70 miles away, and already have plans to be out in Virginia.

Have a good trip. The entire Inner Harbor area of Baltimore is a nice place to hang out, although some weekends it looks like Disneyworld. If you get the chance, mosey over to the book store in the old warehouse (far FAR to the right, again facing the mall with back to water, although the book store (Barnes & Noble?) is not in the mall. It is in another building, over near the ESPN ... "amusement" store and restaurant (I think it is a restaurant). The book store has an incredible selection of magazines, including all the knife rags that I know of.

Dennis,
I was in Baltimore the first two weeks of this month. Rockspyder's description of how to find the CK&T store is pretty good. Selection was okay, prices were generally terrible, although one salesman told me that they will come by 25% to match other dealers' prices. I would have bought my William Henry CF Lancet there, but they didn't have one in stock, and wouldn't get one from another store unless I paid up front and waited nearly a week (if I'm going to do that, I might as well order from an Internet dealer, so I did -- KnifeArt delivered my knife in two days). Benchmade prices appeared to be over list -- they wanted $149.99 for the BM 705, which the Benchmade website shows as retailing for $145, and which is available on the web for under $100.
