I go to Scheels in Coralville from time to time to drool and handle blades, but they tend to be pricey so I usually end up buying online. It's the closest bastion of civilization from where I live, and lately I've been going that way often for doctor visits.
They got a BM 710 HS in stock the other week  which I've always somewhat coveted however they want $180 for it (online I've seen it at just over $100, not counting shipping). I've asked to handle it about 3 times now though...and I just so happen to be going up tomorrow to get stitches out...
Scheels has a fair stock of somewhat-overpriced BM (2 display shelves instead of 1), and smaller selections of Spyderco, Kershaw, SOG, Buck, CRKT, Cold Steel, S&W, Gerber, Ka Bar, Colt, and a large UC area of fantasy blades and swords (if you swing that way). While this may sound like a "huge" selection in reality some of these companies "share" shelves with other companies i.e. half a shelf of Spyderco and the other half SOG. I was really disappointed in their assortment of SOG from my visit last week, as they only had 1 in stock (Gentleman's folder). I keep hoping that they will get some Christmas stock in soon as some of the display cases were also somewhat empty (as of last week Monday).
They also have a small display of "customs"...last time I was there with the wife they had the display case open and so I handled at a $250 stag-handled bowie that didn't have the cleanest grinds; but they had a $200 skinner that looked pretty decent.
If you are interested in going there, take 380 to 80 and take the first exit (Scheels is in the Coralville Mall - on the 80 side of the mall). In the store you have to take the escalator to the 2nd floor, and go to the back where the firearms are. The knives are kept in a row behind the binoculars/spotting scopes.
