Any good knifestores in Boston area?

I am going to be in the area for the marathon this weekend, and thought I might do some 'tire kicking'. Any good prospects?

If you are in town for the Marathon, the race ends on Boylston St, right at Copley Sq. Inside the Copley Sq. Mall is Stoddards, a high end cutlery store. They carry lots of production stuff, BM, WH, CRK, etc. Prices aren't great but they have sales often. Lots of kitchen cutlery as well. I bought a BM once that at full price was simply mfr list price but they had a 40% off sale so it brought the price down to about internet rates. If you aren't familiar with the area, just ask someone where the Copley Mall is located and they'll point you to the nearest (of many) enterances. Stoddards has another location at Downtown Crossing, but all the good stuff is at the Copley location.

Per Ken's post, Chesapeake K & T is another option down in Faneuil Hall. It's in a basement store. They probably have a larger selection and a bigger store compared to Stoddards. Prices are also pretty much mfr list, but they always have a 40%-50% sale case for a variety of production folders.

Both Stoddards & Chesapeake also sell customs, but stock is very limited.

Stoddards at Downtown crossing has closed. They were located there at Temple Place.

Sign on the door says visit their other stores at Copley in Boston proper or the Chestnut Hill Mall in Brookline, Ma.

If I'm not mistaken, isn't Stoddards one of the older authorized Randall dealers? I'm pretty sure I had a Stoddard Randall a couple of years ago.
