Any good places to fish along Connecticut Shoreline?

Hey guys. I want to bring my girlfriend, younger brother and younger cousin fishing tomorrow, but have no idea where to go. Normally i just fish a small pond or river that i frequent often, but i want to try somewhere new. I don't want to blow a ton of gas on a trip, so somewhere along the shoreline would be good. Freshwater fishing from shore. Ideas? Species doesn't matter, trout and bass preferred, but i'm sure as long as they catch anything it will be fine. Thanks!

Well i've gone through the booklet they give each year. i didn't know if anybody had any off the map places that were good. thanks though!
