Any good slipjoint knife kits?

I was wondering if anyone knew any good slipjoint style knife kits existed for a newbie like me. I want to understand the workings behind the knife and try putting on some bone handles.

I have put together one of their lockback folder kits and it was good quality stuff. Made a nice knife.
