Any good website links for grinding?

As I ponder the purchase of a belt grinder, I thought reading through some knifemaking links in general and stock removal grinding techniques specifically would be a good idea.

Also, anyone know a "grinder" in the Tucson, Arizona area that might be able to get me started? Especially, on the safety issues

, after all, with time my technique will improve if I don't hurt myself, right? Thanks!

Sid,

Maybe check out Mike Koller. He is in Marion...I'm not sure if that is close to you or not. He is a talented craftsman as you can see from his web site at: http://kollerknives.homestead.com/HOME.html There is contact info there.

He has a KMG1 grinder and maybe he can share some words of wisdom regarding machinery also.

Good Luck,
