I just ran across this post. Bob, yours is a very fine example of a Left Handed Germanic Goosewing Broad Ax. And it looks like you did a nice job with the edge. The first picture in your post is of my Right Handed Goose Wing. Mine is very special to me as my sweet wife gave it to me as a wedding gift many years ago.
If you count down the pictures in your post, the 8th picture is a very nice, rarer version of a goosewing. When prowling around Pennsylvania in the late 1960's-early 70's I only found one of these that I could acquire. Thanks for posting.
