I inherited my mother's mini copperhead with black bone. It was interesting enough that I ordered a new Kirinite Wharncliffe Mini Copperhead. How is the quality? How is the blade? Does that hump bother anyone?

I think the quality is still good I recently picked up a yellow cv and fit and finish is great locks up super solid I'd highly recommend picking one up

I have one from Case's limited run (500) with "vintage" stag covers. I like it very much.

Doc, thought I had a recent one and when I looked it was made in 1998! It is a good penknife, but don't think that's current enough. OH

I have one in ginger ale jigged bone, SS, with the wharncliffe. I don't remember the year it was made....I'll have to go dig it out. I thought I had some pics of it somewhere.
If memory serves, I think this one has a pretty light pull on the main blade.. probably a 3 or so.....
I like that size knife for a watch pocket kind of thing, and the wharncliffe is a really nice slicer.

That stag looks just about perfect on that knife! Very nice...

I have one in navy blue jigged bone with the red shield; I REALLY like the looks of that bone/shield combo. Mine is stainless. I think it's one of my best-looking knives, and it has great fit and finish, smooth profile with no tang corners sticking out, pleasant pulls, fantastic knife.

update.... I dug mine out, and I was wrong on most counts. It is root beer bone, not ginger ale.... I knew it was some kind of non-alcoholic drink...
It also does not have light pulls, I must have been thinking of another knife. This one has probably a 6 for the main, and a low 5 for the secondary. All in all, it's a nice little knife. This one shows to be a 2015 version, if I read the stamp correctly....

Mine is in pocket worn white bone (I don't know the official name). Has light pulls and I had to work it and put a lot of oil in the joint before the secondary had any snap.

Neat little frame though....I like the wharnie main. Rides nice in my shirt pocket.

What struck me is how beautiful this knife is with the wharncliffe option. My mother’s old knife is small and trim. It’s just about what I want to carry. Next I think I’ll look at the medium trapper wharncliffe.

I'm really liking the looks of these - in particular with the wharncliffe main, just worried that it's a bit too small. Anyone have a side by side photo with a GEC 62?
