Any help with this old Boker slip joint?

I received this knife from my Grandpa 30 some years a go and I was told it was really old. Judging by the style, condition and construction it does appear to be rather old. It has nothing on the badge and says nothing more than Boker USA on the blade. Any ideas? Sorry for the bad pics, I am at work.

The Boker/USA tang stamp came into use about WW2. Since that knife has bone handles and the shield doesn't have the Boker tree brand trademark I would say that one is from 1940s-1950s.

Thanks for the info. Besides a little crud on the blade, the knife is in really good shape and I am surprised that there is almost no blade play after this long.
