Any hogs recommend a good place to eat in Peoria IL??

Have to go there next week on biniz.

Anyone know a good place that is "hogworthy"??

Hello Mike, Peoria only has two things, resturants and Caterpillar. For seafood, try the Fish House in town or Johah's east of the river. For pick and cook your own steaks, try Alexanders (or they will cook it for you) For unbelievable burgers, try The Burger Barge ( don't let the looks of the place fool you) Johnny Italian Steakhouse is great. And Ming's if you like Chinese buffets (very good buffet)

Thats exactly what they do there......tempt tempt.......and 30 lbs later...
 
Good thing poenman chimed in because I could begin to tell you where to eat there. I don't think I have been there in years.
 
Ate at Jim's downtown (:eek: Hog worthy), at the Caterpilar large equipment demo site, and at the Pere Marquette hotel (Hog worthy also).

I tried to get them to hit the Burger Barge, but the majority were leery of the place given the external appearance, so it was Texas Roadkill, um, Roadhouse.

Good times, esp seein all the LARGE Cat products
(777 dump truck and the D11R.:eek: :eek: :eek:)

Even better was playin on (operating) some of the smaller products.:thumbup:
 
I think the only Fogo in IL is in Chitown. There used to be a good place in the state capitol, but it isn't open anymore. :)
