Someone bought one and polished it?

Common, yes alot of people mirror their bevels. From factory, no someone has done that after the fact.

Para 2s do not come like that (I wish) My guess is somebody used an edge pro or wicked edge system with high grit stones to achieve a mirrored edge. Either that or they are excellent at freehanding.

gotta be wicked pro or something. Most crazy free hand polished edges, you notice the bevel gets way thinner and wider near the tip.

Looks like Mad Rookie's pic. Mad Rookie is one of the better sharpeners in the forums. If I'm correct, he used a Professional Model Edge Pro. Here's mine, although not quite as nicely done as Mad Rookie's. :D

Definitely not factory, done by an OCD sharpener like me :p

I'd love it if knives came from the factory like that. I would pay extra too. :D

I have the capability to mirror polish bevels (WEPS) but I never do, I much prefer a toothy edge than a polished one.

I find the polished edges 'slippery' and more novel than functional, I'm happy they don't come that way from the factory :)

And that photo shows a relatively low angle too so they spent a lot of time reprofiling that one before polishing it.
