Any idea if the new line will have camp tramp or something along those lines

I thought I read a post by Eric Isaacson saying that the new Camp Tramp was going to be bigger than the original. Even if it's just my wishful thinking, I would be really surprised if the Swamp didn't offer a 6-8" utility knife.

I hope it's not bigger. I have a battle rat. What I would dearly love to see is a knife with the res c handle of the battle rat, 6" long blade full flat ground 2" wide/deep by 1/4" thick with lots of belly on the main blade area. I would also like to see a small thumb ramp on the spine of the blade with a 1-1/2" to 2" slightly concave set of serrations right in front of it for rope and the like. I hate serrations on the main cutting area of a blade, but I can't deny the usefullness of them for some chores like cutting rope.

I hope so. I'll put my money down now. Would you guys like the res handle of the camp or the micarta on the ratweiler? Seems people love the res but their big bro counterparts at busse have the micarta.

I vote for the Battle Rat size Res C handle as the howling rat size is way too small for my hand.

I'm stickin' to my guns and betting the Swamp offers a single replacement for the Camp Tramp and Battle Rat with an 8" blade.

We've already heard rumors of a 6" blade so a 7" wouldn't offer much more.

BigC, almost sounds like stretching out a coot, replacing the choil with serrations, and adding the thumb ramp. DAyum, I like it........ Was just sitting here imagining that on this inficoot.
