any idea what model my EK knife is?

the sheath is custom hand made. the knife was made by blackjack I believe. black jack stop making these in 97. so mine is pretty old but it hadn't been used.i really like that it is stainless and has a long handle. I live by the ocean so stainless is important. the long handle really aids in prying or stabbing. not sure of the type of steel. I think they heat treated these to around 57 59 I heard. I love it and will prob never sell it. if I break it I guess im out of luck though. no warrantee.

Here's mine from the 1990s, made by Blackjack Knives in Effingham, Illinois.

I don't know offhand what the steel is, but I can look it up in the morning.

Best I can recollect, Model 5 with obvious chord wrap, it may be 440a steel, the ones with a steel guard had 440a, the ones with a brass guards were 440c.
