I'm pretty much over the whole Esee thing. I've waited and waited for the DC6 and now I just don't much care anymore. My Bravo 1.5 will do anything that I need a DC6 to do.....

I've been waiting on the folding izula for years now. I've accepted that it's a pipe dream.
Camp-lores bad enough since they've been "sooning" it for so long now.

^^ tell me about it! They need to get with it. It makes zero business sense to build the anticipation like they have over this camp lore line. But whateve, I gotta felling that DC6 will be worth the wait. Just something beautifully simple about that design that talks to me.

I wonder why dave canterberry is having a knife done by Essee when he sells the plsk, plsk2, and jeff white camp king on his website? I also noticed that tops knives has one out to supposedly designed in collaboration with Dave!

I'd say that's one of the things can you be pretty confident about is that they won't sacrifice quality just to put someones name on a product.

If I were waiting for this knife because I need it, I would have bought something else by now. At Blade (Early June), ESEE was still saying 90 days which appears to be their standard comment. They announced this knife years ago. Pretty fed up and probably won't buy it regardless at this point. Bark River makes one very similar and the Fiddleback Forge Camp Knife is similar. The Fiddleback Forge Camp knife is real nice.
