No reason to get upset. Why would you post something about busse not in the busse forum? Since it directly relates to the busse forum it should be there.:rolleyes:

Oh and not the buck forum either.......
 
I am wanting to actually get a Busse to see what the all the fuss is about, (i know swamprat is like mini-busse) so im going to hold out till i can get one of the hellrazor's or something close to that. I have thought about buying a swamp rat a time or two though, thanks for the idea.

to Boats. Do you not have anything better to do than bash Busse products? This is the second thread today you have ranted on about Busse in. You know you can skip the thread and not read it when the title blatantly regards a Busse product. You sir are just trolling.
 
someone might only read this forum and say aha!! that's where I can get a Hell Razor and then you'd give em a link.

and that could happen for awhile. Long as the thread was active.

and then when you needed help but didn't know the maker you could say " Where in the world can I get a khukri?". and we'd tell ya.

You might try to email Scott and Vicki at the Busse Company Store www.bussecompanystore.com and ask them if they had any cancellations. They had some last week but now they aren't listed. Sometimes a cancellation for an order comes up and it takes a few days to get listed back on the store site. Good luck

I doubt that they will ever sell any cheaper than the original list price, and my guess from watching how well Busses retain their value is that the price will go up even on heavily used pieces.

Just as an example Busse Combat donated over $43,000 worth of knives in 2002 for the Troops heading to Afghanistan and I sure haven't seen many(or any) of those knives go up for sale. There are other special models that have been made exclusively for the military and they seldom are ever sold, when/if they do sell they go for a premium.
Another example would be the SF NO, which Busse is no longer making. They were readily available for months, but as soon as they were sold out the price has sky-rocketed, even on used pieces. They do not often come up for sale and when they do they sell quickly and at almost 2 times the original price

No, I can't help that certain people are hypersensitive about being called on their BS. People ought to know where to post a subject when it is so freakin' obvious where it ought to go. If the OP idiot had been asking if a Boker Applegate-Fairbairn was ever going to come out in S30V, I have a notion I'd have been attempting to redirect him to go and ask in the subforum where that question might be pertinent.

"Busse or Fehrman?" belongs in general.
"What is the addy of the Busse Company Store?" belongs in the BC forum.
Even the excremental "Why don't other companies do live testing blah blah blah?" belongs in general.

Is it really so beyond the limited capacities of certain posters to follow the categorization inherent to bladeforums?

Edit : also, if you had simply responded with "try the busse maker forum" instead of adding some attitude, i woudlnt have been "hypersensitive" as you put it.
