Thanks for the assist Armand-I thought there had to be more to that number-still looking for a magnifying glass in my house somewhere:confused:

Sure thing pal, youve came to aid enough times.

The more we talk about these knives and post pics, the more I like em. They were completely off my radar until a few weeks ago. Now they are on the "maybe someday" list at least.

They are different for sure. I have one other one, the plain one with wood handles. If you get one and intend to carry it, remember the sheath has a clip not a belt loop. I'd have a custom sheath made for it or have the standard sheath modified.

Dave, how about a picture of the back of the sheath. I just want to see the clip. The scales on that one are real nice, not a big cutout fan.

I'm no fan of the cutouts, especially for a user. Here's a couple of pictures of the clip.

If you were going to use the knife a new sheath would be in order. Really don't like those style clips. When you push them over the belt they will leave a mark.

They will pop off your belt real easy too. Easy to lose it that way.

Thats not good. I dont wear a belt very often, although hunting I do. I am through too much brush to carry a clip sheath of any type-I'd loose it for sure. Did you say you had one made or you just recommend it?

I'd just recommend it. I've never carried it and more than likely won't. I'm not a hunter so I rarely carry any fixed blade, but if I was going to hunt I'd more than likely use something else for skinning.

Yeah, maybe a good carry knife at a sportsmans event, but with good sheath, I'd hunt with it.

When those first came out I liked the blade style but didn't buy one because of the sheath . DM
