Just picked up a couple damascus knives and I can find no Maker's Marks on them anywhere. The only thing they have in common is the same symbol in the handle. Any info is greatly appreciated.

Pictures would help. Use a photo host like imgur.com and upload the photo, then add the link here.

Thats not an emblem, its a mosaic pin. Its a hollow tube of brass, filled with stainless tubes in a pattern and then filled with colored epoxy. I buy em 10-12 feet at a time for use in my knives. Yours isn't one of mine btw.

Two mosaic pins on the bolster and one on the handle on this knife:

Pakistani damascus. I can tell by the sheath construction and some general design features (short inlay, etc....). They have cornered the market on budget damascus, and it always troubles collectors. As for pinning down a maker, you probably can't do it. They are a cottage industry over there, and sold to 100s of different importers. Poshland knives is one of the largest.

*the real number 1. is: Miscellaneous textiles, worn clothing (yes, worn)

Finally got some more pictures. The smallest one I have is around 8 inches total length. They are all made with different wood in the handles. Heavy and thick. Does the shape and style of the blade make them stand out any in any way? (price or availabilty?) Just a curious guy looking for any info. Thanks all!

I'm going to have to go with everyone else and say they are most likely cheaper Pakistani knives. Where did you get them from?

Yep, Pakistan. I would bet the farm. They are not worth a lot--cash wise--but I'm sure they'll make perfectly good users. Just try to occasionally oil as they're carbon. I kinda like that oddball--looks like it might be handy in the kitchen.
