Hi, I bought this knife recently and was trying to dig up info on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. It's stamped WHITE. I checked with Eddie White and he didn't make it. Could it possibly be John White? Thanks

Can nobody help me? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I really need some history on this knife before it goes elk hunting this fall. I ususlly use a Knives of Alaska Combo but it's quite heavy for archery season. Would love to use this knife instead but concerned I might be abusing sombodys artwork. Help please. Thanks Merek
 
Sorry I can't be of much help. But that appears to be a very well made blade, and every bladesmith I've ever talked to likes to see their knives used, and used fequently! So I wouldn't feel bad about using it if you don't get any more info. But good luck just the same!
